You already know the importance of setting goals for yourself, to have something to aim for; study, good grades and passing exams is no different.
So, set yourself goals for the term. Once you’ve got them, break them down into goals for each week.

The Trick to Goal Setting (….and it’s an acronym)

Smart students set SMART goals:

S Specific: what exactly are you intending to achieve?

Thoroughly revise all French tenses so far
M Measurable: how will you know when you’ve achieved it?

I’ll get all the answers right when I test myself
A Achievable: how can you make this happen?

Monday revise present tense, Tuesday, future tense, …
R Realistic: can I do this?

Yes / No
T Time-scale: when will I have done this by?

End of March

Goals help you keep yourself focused, with the end in mind. If you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know when you’ve got there?
